SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (Carlsbad, CA)
Conduct traffic impact and operations studies for new development and capital improvement projects. Analysis and microsimulation of various transportation facilities. Conduct traffic volume forecast and traffic pattern changes. Design and prepare plans for traffic signal, signage and striping, traffic control and management, signal interconnect, roadway improvement and bikeway facilities. Re-timing of traffic signals for corridor synchronization. Implement and fine tune signal timing in field. Familiar with 170 and 2070 controller, and Transparity TMC program. Provide recommendation to improvements and draft project reports and technical memorandums. Prepare scope, fee and proposal for project pursuits and, train junior staff. Salary: $102,898.
